Moderator: Kate Scott | Pac-12 Networks Play-by-Play Announcer, Anchor, Host & Reporter
The first woman to call an NFL game on the radio, the first to call football for the Pac-12 Networks, and the play-by-play announcer for the first ever all-female NHL broadcast in the United States, Kate Scott continues to break barriers as a leader in sports broadcasting. Since joining the Networks in 2015, Scott has done it all. From calling football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball and softball, to reporting for everything from rowing to rugby - including the Pac-12 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments and a pair of Women's Final Fours - to studio anchoring, hosting the award-winning features show "Our Stories," and acting as the public address announcer for the Pac-12 Football Championship Game at Levi's Stadium. Previously, Scott spent six years as the first full-time female voice on Bay Area sports radio at KNBR 680-AM. A native of Clovis, California, Scott earned her bachelor's degree in communications from UC Berkeley.

CJ Agbannawag | Sustainability Program Coordinator, University of Arizona
CJ is the Sustainability Program Coordinator for the Office of Sustainability. In his role, CJ oversees many of the Office of Sustainability's student Sustainability Project Assistants and has a broader focus on student and staff engagement and zero waste efforts across campus. Although CJ is a new hire to the Office of Sustainability as of January 2020, he is returning to campus as an alum after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments from the College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture in 2015. CJ believes that sustainability is an ongoing team effort within an organization, and that it takes buy-in and cooperation between all relevant stakeholders.

Preslie Anderson | Student Athlete, Women's Volleyball, Cal
Preslie will be graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in December with a degree in Legal Studies and will be pursuing her final year of NCAA eligibility at Baylor University starting in January to receive her Masters Degree in their Political Science department. Outside her passion for volleyball and sports, she has found a true desire to devote herself to social justice and the Black Lives Matter Movement. Preslie hopes to one day attend law school so she can legitimize these desires and help both minority and underrepresented communities through policy change.

Tad Boyle | Coach, Men's Basketball, University of Colorado
Tad Boyle is in his 11th season as the head coach of the University of Colorado men's basketball program. He has a 210-134 record with the Buffaloes with his win total and winning percentage of .610 ranking second in school history. Entering his 15th overall season as a collegiate head coach, Boyle has won 57 percent of his games with a record of 266-200. He owns seven of Colorado's 11 all-time seasons of 20-plus wins. Boyle is the first CU coach to lead the Buffaloes to seven consecutive postseason appearances and the first to guide the program to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments. His record at the CU Events Center is stellar, leading the Buffaloes to a 141-27 mark at home (.839) over the last 10 seasons. Boyle has led Colorado to 19 wins over ranked opponents, by far the best in team history. ▾

Ally Carda | Former Student Athlete, Women's Softball, UCLA; Professional Softball Player; USA Olympic Team Member
Ally Carda graduated from UCLA in 2015 where she was a 2x First Team All-American and 2x PAC-12 Player of the Year. She graduated with a degree in Sociology and received an MBA from Devry University. She plays professional softball in Japan for Team Honda and has been a part of the USA National Softball Team since graduating in 2015. Currently, Ally is a member of the 2020 Olympic Softball team.

Cailyn Crocker | Student Athlete, Women's Basketball, Cal
Cailyn Crocker is a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley. She plays on the Women's Basketball team and hopes to major in business administration. On campus she is the co-founder of the Racial Justice Council that serves to speak on implicit bias, anti-racism, the blacklivesmatter movement, representation, voting, allyship, and so much more. She, also, is a member of the Black Student-Athlete Committee (BSAC), Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Cal Sports Marketing Club, Golden Girls, and represents Cal as a Student-Athlete Representative of the Leadership Team for the Pac 12 conference.

Erica Fleishman | Director, Oregon Climate Change Research Institute and Professor, Oregon State University
Erica Fleishman is Director of the Oregon Climate Change Research Institute (OCCRI) and Professor in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University. Erica received a B.S. and M.S. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. from University of Nevada, Reno. Her research focuses on ecological responses to variability and changes in climate, land use, and other environmental attributes in the western United States. She participates in the science process for management of California's San Francisco Estuary and is engaged in development of private-lands conservation plans consistent with the US Endangered Species Act. Erica is affiliated with the Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Center and regularly collaborates with resource agencies, industry, and researchers on diverse topics related to environmental stewardship and resilience.

Abbey Forbes | Student Athlete, Women's Tennis, UCLA
Abbey Forbes is a sophomore at the University of California, Los Angeles. Plays on the women's tennis team and hopes to major in Political Science with aspirations to go to law school. Founder of the Black Tennis Student-Athlete Alliance which consists of the nation's Black collegiate tennis players building community with goals to increase Black representation in college tennis. On campus co-founder of the UCLA Black Student-Athlete Alliance, and team representative for UCLA's Voting Matter's Initiative. Advocate for Pediatric Cancer Research and Autism Awareness.

Brooke Forde | Student Athlete, Women's Swimming, Stanford University
Brooke is a senior student-athlete at Stanford, originally from Louisville, KY. She is studying Human Biology and Global Health with a minor in Spanish. In addition to being a member of Stanford's varsity swim team, she is in her 4th year as a member of the USA Swimming National Team and is serving her second term on Stanford's SAAC Sustainability Committee.

Rick George | Athletic Director, University of Colorado Boulder
Rick George was named athletic director at the University of Colorado on July 17, 2013, returning to Boulder where he helped play a role in the school's first and only national championship in football some 23 years earlier. George's accomplishments in his first 7 years are many but none more significant than shepherding through a $156 million Athletic Complex Expansion from creation through fruition. Once green-lighted, he spearheaded the most successful fundraising campaign in athletic department history, raising over $100 million for the project. By the end of his second year, George implemented the department's first-ever comprehensive strategic plan, which mapped CU's immediate and long range purpose and goals. George came to Colorado from the Texas Rangers baseball club of the American League, where he was named chief operating officer on October 5, 2010 with a promotion to president of business operations in February 2013. In his time with the Rangers, the team made the World Series twice under his leadership. ▾

Katie Grover | Director of Special Partnerships, Rock the Vote; Former UCLA Student-Athlete, Swimming
Katie Grover is the Director of Special Partnerships at Rock the Vote, where she manages partnerships with professional athletes, leagues, and teams, as well as colleges and universities. Prior to working at Rock the Vote, Katie received her Master's in Public Policy at the University of Michigan's Ford School of Public Policy. She graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was captain of the UCLA Swim & Dive team.

Dr. Shanyn Lancaster | Section Chief, Sports Medicine, ASU and Adjunct Instructor in Medicine, College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic
Dr. Shanyn C Lancaster received her BSB in Finance from the University of Minnesota, where she was a four year varsity letterwinner in gymnastics. She graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and trained at Columbia-St. Mary's family medicine residency program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has worked in a group practice setting and within Student Health Centers on two collegiate campuses. As the current Head Team Physician and Chief of Sports Medicine at Arizona State University, she has expanded the scope of medical care to the 600+ student athletes, in include comprehensive medical and sports medicine care. She has expanded mental health screening on campus and hopes to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health in our society, especially within athletes. She is currently the chair of the Pac-12 Mental Health Taskforce.

Dr. Sahar Yousef | Cognitive Neuroscientist & Faculty, UC Berkeley Haas School of Business
Dr. Sahar Yousef is a cognitive neuroscientist and the youngest business faculty at UC Berkeley. Her 10+ years of research on 'making superhumans', featured in Forbes and Business Insider, sheds light on how to improve focus, memory, and overall human performance in as little as 6 weeks. Outside of the academic world, Sahar is the founder and managing director of Stoa Partners, a productivity training and consulting firm which teaches busy professionals who think for a living how to get their most important work done, in less time, with less stress.

Jamie Zaninovich | Deputy Commissioner/Chief Operating Officer, Pac-12
Jamie Zaninovich joined the Pac-12 Conference as Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer in July of 2014. He is responsible for all aspects of the Pac-12's administrative operations, including television administration, sport management, championships, football bowl relationships, Pac-12 Global, governance, enforcement, compliance, and officiating. During his first two years at the Pac-12, Zaninovich helped guide the conference through unprecedented governance changes, major increases in its international efforts, and continued high-level success of its 23 sponsored sports. To name just a few of his myriad accomplishments at the Pac-12, Zaninovich has overseen the addition of two Pac-12 sports, transitioned the Pac-12 football postseason from the BCS to the College Football Playoff, navigated major changes in intercollegiate athletics governance and rule-making, and overseen reforms to student-athlete benefits and the addition of the Pac-12 Student-Athlete Leadership Team to the Pac-12's official governance structure. ▾
